How Lowe Advisory Support came about
Lowe Advisory Support grew out of LOWE ACADEMY OF MUSIC AND THE ARTS LLP. Running an arts organisation means handling safeguarding, data protection, licensing and contractual duties every week. We learned how to do that properly by doing it ourselves.
Clients kept asking how we managed those duties. Small teams with no compliance officer wanted a plain answer rather than a report full of jargon. That is the gap we set out to fill, and it is still the work we do.
We provide compliance risk advisory services. That means we map the rules that apply to you, look at how you currently work, and tell you where the gaps sit and which ones carry the most risk. You get a written view you can act on.
We work mostly with small and mid-sized organisations, including music and arts bodies. Many come to us with the same concern: they know duties exist but cannot tell which of them actually apply and what evidence they should keep.
Our advice is measured and honest. We say when a risk is small, we say when something needs urgent attention, and we never invent a problem to extend an engagement. Where we lack knowledge, we say so and point you elsewhere.
We keep our engagements limited so that every client gets proper attention. When we agree to take on work, you deal with the same person from the first call onwards, which keeps the advice consistent as your situation changes.
